I have a silly question. I have never made sourdough bread and have no idea if I can make starter from scratch or if I need to get some from someone. If you could advise I would be grateful:)

That’s a great question. I recreated my starter after I moved. It’s pretty simple but I can bring you some starter the next time I come to town if you like. I also have a whole “Sourdough” booklet I can bring you explaining how to take care of it.
